Here's how to work it out properly:

    in 30ml you want 8mg/ml or 8%
    So 30 x 0.08 (8%) = 2.4ml
which means you're taking out 2.4ml
    so 2.4 x 0.08 = 0.192ml
so you need 2.592ml or like @DogMan said 2.6ml :)

The Pos pin on the Vikka (clone) is brass a magnet will not stick to brass & the neg threads on the Vikka are SS, depending on the type of SS it may be magnetically attractive, so the magnet may stick to the neg threads.
If it does you have just created a dead short, which is going to bypass the coil & cause the battery to overheat.
Even if the magnet does not stick to the neg threads (not magnetic), the risk if you are not extremely careful is still high of creating a dead short, putting a magnet or something else into the 510 connection. I have done something similar using a tiny piece of alfoil for another atty but it is a very risky practice & is not 100% controlled by the user, anyone that isn't very aware of what they are doing should not attempt this.

I can't find how it is constructed, so can offer no help really.

I was thinking about pushing the positive pin down from inside, with a hammer ( yes, I have done it before with success) but I just don't know how this atty is

constructed. There will surely be a way though.

Don't feel bad flea. I only know about stuff like that because I am paranoid about venting batteries. That is one of the reasons I don't often sub-ohm and usually use regulated devices because I can relax and just vape. I have done some pretty dumb things and once I didn't lock a mech so it badly overheated from constant firing. I was lucky and paid a lot more attention after that.

Thank you Judith, but I should know better. You can slap my hand.............

I do remember a lot of threads a few years ago, probably not in here, that was all about using magnets.
I have to learn to keep up, especially when it comes to batteries.

I am not into hand slapping. The magnets were used on the negative end of some mech mods to deal with battery length. Some were also used on side firing mech mods from memory but that could be a faulty memory. I used a couple on a squonker that was lent to me recently and the magnets are incredible strong so I don't think there is any chance of them slipping. Vaping seems to be a never ending learning experience.

They're both nice so it's hard to decide but I love the pattern and color of the Nut punch. Only if there was a lil Nut punch option (Nut punch pattern and color in the smaller form).

SOLD! That lil pinch is so nice and the natural African Blackwood looks great. Sorry Dman the decision is too hard, you're on you're own for this one but please upload pics on the one you decide and it's progress. Excited for you

this will be my only 8.4 volt mod

unsure whether to get the squonking version, or dripping/tank [for $100 usd cheaper] since the extreme wattage will be just a home mod
