Nice coil DM, will it still look that good after you've mounted it?

Not quite perfect but the ohms are reading correctly, dual 3mm inner dia coils, 0.7 ohm, on the Zephyrus:

A basic clapton, 34 over 24 from memory, came in bang on 0.2 ohms on a plume veil. 3mm ID[IMG]

Fused clapton, 34 over 2 x 26g kanthal. 0.21 ohms. Twisted messes clone RDA.

Ramp up time is looooong. Needs a high power regulated device or one less wrap to deal with that, but once it gets down it boogies.

@Darkhorse i'm getting a couple of parallel unregulated mods soon, thinking of trying 24awg again if the ramp up is better than single. regulated is too confusing for me

ramp up time is definitely better with dual parallel batteries, there's less sag so they hit harder.

What resistance do you normally build?

At lower resistances the effect of parallel vs single batteries is greater, so at 0.3 you will really know about it when you put it on the parallel box.

It will be similar to turning your output voltage up by about 0.3 volts

Double helixed with twisted .5 ribbon

    0.26 ohms 3mm ID

Amazing flavour but super thirsty coil

dual 26awg 6 wraps, 1.5mm. goes ok on the reo. tmod would need thicker wick

Guys with a microcoil how much cotton should I be using for optimal flavour? Coil is 1.2ohms on a cyclone

You want the cotton to be snug against the coil but not tight, experiment a little you'll get there.
