Super, saving, new mortgage. Where there is an addiction there is a way.
43 years In the end I was puffing down a 40 pack a day, and I was never gonna quit. I believed the damage had been done and there was no turning back..boy was I wrong I have not felt this good in years.
I was one of those accidental quitters my son walked in with a CE4 and a ego battery I thought "what a novel idea" which I pinched from him (he had another ha ha) decided to do a bit of research upgraded my kit and now I have been smoke free for 18 months. It has for me been a life changing invention..
Meant to be Salamander
Around 20 years full time. "Officially" quit in '95 and was on NRT gum for 5 years. Kicked that and even went through a divorce w/out a relapse but stumbled when I met a lass that had the occasional smoke. That relationship was stormy so I was on a roller coaster of of f again, on again. I was on a double pack of NRT mints a week when I discovered Vaping. Funny thing is, I had a conversation with my Dr at one point and he asked if "they" ever came out with a safe cigarette would I take it up. I said I'd buy stock. So here I am.
75% OF SWITCHERS SMOKED FOR MORE THAN 20 YEARS !!! IMPRESSIVE.
12 to 29....would probably never had quit.
Started vaping for costs but have never wanted a ciggy yet really. Like the vape way more..
My pack of smokes is still sitting in the key bowl from the day my vape turned up in the post...
6ish weeks now and not looked back once.
About 50 years ago since I found an unopened packet of 12 Peter Styvo.s on the way to the Saturday matinee.
But been vapin for awhile now and just took up snuff.
Too bloody long..
Too right Charles!

Its actually quite incredible that a good amount of people have smoked for such a longtime but vaping was the success to getting off the fags..
Imagine if vaping was the norm instead of ciggies. Ive never heard of such prevelant success with other methods of quitting.
Makes you really wonder where the goverments intentions really are??? (obviously money lol)
I'm starting to think that they are all confused and wouldn't have a clue what the hell is going on. I'm sure there is lots of motivation to oppose vaping from various quarters because of $$$ but I think the bulk of human beings are essentially decent and wouldn't cause harm deliberately. Vapers and the people who support vaping (because they talked to vapers) are probably the only ones who understand.
Smoked for 3yrs (as a cool person)
Smoked for a further 37 yrs (as a dumb ass)
Vaped for 2 yrs (as enlightened ) in more ways than you can imagine!
Smoked to within 3 months of 50 years.
Moving foward tobacco free World!
30 years for me. Being a tradie (mechanic by trade) it was part and parcel of my trade. It wasnt until my wife and i decided to give vaping a try. So far so good and yes ive meet people who already are saying "vaping is bad ive just read an article etc etc". This usually results in me saying "well at least im not sucking down 4000 plus chemicals anymore". Ive tried patches and most other things on the market with no success. Fingers crossed vaping is my way "out" of the smoking cycle. The cost saving thus far is a massive bonus.
Stared smoking at 11 years old and finaly stoped at 34 for hubby its been longer
34, you are such a spring chicken. Damn that makes me feel old.

With 4 kids and old riding injuries, not so much spring any more
