Today we went to visit Macquarie Harbour which was notorious in convict days where the worst of the worst were sent. You can still feel the vibes of the ghosts past of the poor souls that suffered there.

.. walking up 16 flights of stairs (without dying).

The lift was out when I got home & the Otis van was parked in the driveway, so I waited a while and then mosied down to the pub on the corner to have a middie of lemon lime & bitters (very cooling on a day that hit 30 C). When I wandered back up I celebrated the fact that the Otis van was gone, and the area outside the lifts was devoid of people .. but it had broken, again.

    :wall:

So I climbed the 16 floors of steps in stages.

Well I tried it out for my Santa performance but would not fit. However the slow combustion stove is perfect for Tasmanian winters. There is one in the double garage as well and that will be my man cave.

Brought the recycling bin in. It had been out for 16 days with my man flu too unbearable to take the bins out.

    Rubbish piling up

With today's tech, the bins should be auto. & take themselves out & in.

Just put the roast beef on at 2pm, 3 hrs:45 mins till it comes out for a 15 min rest then tucker time [IMG]
Plenty of garlic granules and black pepper and sesame oil on the roast first then wrapped in alfoil and put into a big old baking pan with a lid.

Having roast spud (got 10 kilos of locally grown for 5 bucks and they are massive), cauliflower, broccoli, home grown pumpkin and onion with it.
Can't see the spud on the bottom but I sprinkle flour over some baking paper in the bottom then sit the spuds in first and everything else on top, bit of salt and white pepper and garlic powder then drizzle sesame oil over the top and cover with alfoil.

The veggies need 1 hour and ten mins so I time it to put them on for when the roast has rested for 15 mins and it always works perfectly.

I better go for a 10 km walk while it's cooking.
