You can break sleep paralysis by moving the tip of a finger or a toe. Takes a lot of effort but works.

Crikey, thanks Moonshine. Im really grateful for the advice. It happens pretty often. All I need is the presence of mind to remember what you said when its necessary.

All thanks to you guys, celebrating my three months anniversary on my first forum today.

Never knew having friends could be so much fun and I got through without being banned.
Come close a couple of times but that's dogmans fault.......

Whilst I too have dreams, most of which I forget instantly or eventually, one remains strongly in my mind. It is from my childhood, involving a car ride, the car's seat belt, the sensation of claustrophobia, then followed by suffocation. It's even more funny now as I drive each and everyday. IDK why I'm sharing this..

Then there is the one time I had a dream akin to Homer Simpson's dream, where I was frolicking in the flushing meadows

Dreams are good but without an interpreter they are just dream's.
I dream every night and usually several unrelated dreams, my sleep time is just like my daytime only more fun.

I have many adventures in my dreams and if it is not pleasurable and if it wakes me up I go back to sleep and change the endings to suit a happy ending.
But most of the times I am so out to it that I dont hear reality. On early monday morning at two thirty in the morning we had a person jump the fence in the back yard and then jump the front gate to be gone and picked up by the police and I missed the whole event. Scared the beejeezals out of my daughter who was still awake. But that said I have slept through a earthquake in san francisco when I was in my late teens. All the good stuff happens when I am asleep and I feel I am really missing out.

I used to have 2 weird recurring dreams that I haven't had for a while.
One was where I would be driving a car, usually with my family as passengers, I'd get to the crest of the hill but all of a sudden both pedals will be accelerators, and even though I know I should just release the pedals and throw the e-brake, I just keep accelerating down the hill and when I've got to the bottom I hit a police car, freak out and wake up...
Second was weirder, I would be in a cave of some sort, and some evil person would be fighting with an old, withered knight and I had to pick him up and kind of move his body to make him fight this evil thing by literally standing behind him holding his arms and propping him up... All whilst there was a massive wave of tomato puree coming towards us (not the stuff in a jar, but if anyone here is Spanish/Italian - its more like what you make on sauce day, all thick and full of seeds n skins).
    I hate tomatoes.

I have no shame Aqua, my inhibitions have faded to obscurity, disowned and banished. My apologies for your indignation and my boofheadedness.
The rest of my life will be spent atoning for this atrocious unforgivable malicious crime of true horror. I was overpowered by the dark forces and powerless, my strongest resistance was futile and in vain.
