No flavour at all?

Someone here have suggested getting unflavoured juice, which sounds attractive to me. Most of the flavours I've tried so far have been too strong for me anyway. I'm an MTL man usually using 18mg and 70/30 PG/VG.
I haven't tried unflavoured yet - I'm an intermittent vaper at the moment, and can't be bothered changing juices all the time.
I'm interested in hearing from those who prefer unflavoured, and any downsides in going that way. For example, is there less feeling of a 'hit' without flavour?

the 70% PG and 18mg nicotine will give plenty of throat hit with unflavoured

unflavoured changes with steeping, from quite peppery when fresh, to sweeter when left a week or two

it is a bit like smoking, in that flavour doesn't really register at all, even though it does taste

tends to be a love or hate thing

your coils should last much longer though regardless

Do you get e-liquids premixed? If not, try using less of the flavour!

Not to denigrate unflavoured e-liquids, they do have advantages (no chance of harmful chemicals in the flavour, cheaper, simpler to mix, don't give you 'vapers tongue' when too strong, and I carry 3 mods with 3 different flavours - which complicates things..).

You could try a bottle of this, https://www.fasttech.com/products/0/10004420/3949903-hangsen-e-liquid-for-electronic-cigarettes-30ml it's the highest strength it comes in for that brand (16mg/ml) which is close to your strength & there are no other brands that sell flavorless there.

I've got some, thanks, Noe. And I'll try it when my current load runs out. I also use it for softening the flavour of other premixes.

Finally got round to trying unflavoured and it was OK. I didn't 'miss' the flavour at all, but I was drinking beer at the time which could account for my lack of sensitivity.

I think I might give this a longer run in the future.

I usually vape unflavoured but have one or two flavours going at a time in case I am in the mood.

Unflavoured is misleading really, it does actually have a flavour if it has nic in it and the sweetness of Vg magnifies the taste a little.

70 Pg at 6mg is just right for an emu. :emu:

    The thing about..
    &
.. is that you can most often get away with a coffee based flavour.

If someone puts you on the spot and asks "hey, great coffee, what brand?" you can just reply "home brand!" enthusiastically to have the person force a smile & wander off.

I'm fussy about my coffee & can't find a coffee flavor i like, they all taste a bit like rat poison variants to me :p

I tried some unflavoured in a PV that had Liqua Vanilla - too strong for me - in it prior without replacing the coil. I really enjoyed it for the first couple of hours before the Vanilla disappeared. I'm leaning towards using unflavoured with a dash of vanilla, maybe 10%.

I like unflavoured with just a dash of flavor...vanilla, lemon, coffee even some of the nicer mints are even nicer at lower levels... for me less IS more ! lol

I've been vaping nothing but unflavoured for over two years.

    Disadvantages =
A: I've forgotten how to change coils, have gone months without changing.
I do dry burn them occasionally.

B: I have too much cotton stockpiled. Last wick change was after 73 days of use.

I do only vape at 7 watts.

    Umm.. that's like saying:
    On one side you have:

Flavoured, lightly flavoured, just a hint of flavour..

On the other side you have:

    Unflavoured!
