    Thought I best start a thread as I can see myself asking lots of questions.
    I never thought I would enjoy or want to use rebuildables - turns out its fun!
    Still haven't made a coil but I have successfully built the Vicious Ant and the Challais 14mm Attys and feeling quite chuffed.
    Couldn't have done it without wonderful cafe folk - so thank you dear people, the support and encouragement whilst never treating me like a idiot is so very appreciated.
    :fun: :fun: :fun:

    Lol, I was thinking that, I have started the hard way - I found the Ant harder to build than the Chalice though. They are both so tiny!

    do you have a favourite rda yet?

    still think you'd like the hadaly. The shenzen clones are better than sxk brand clones from reports. The draw is very similar to a vika tank.

    Today's build - the Vicious Ant Cyclone.
    I love this one, much better Atty than the Chalice or perhaps its the coil, I used a Aqua 2.5 i.d 6 wrap contact - its a ripper @Aqualung

    could trim your wick shorter

    that looks right to drip, but to squonk just touching the deck tends to be better

    no biggy though, just aids airflow mostly

    Well, I haven't tried many yet but will be able to build the Derringer clone you gave me now and try that on the Pico Squonker.
    I dont have any normal Rda's only squonking ones, thinking I will get one now though :)
    Can you give me a link to a Hadaly?

    Thanks Jerry, its quite amazing really and I really like that I would be covered for Vapergeddon (which I hope never happens)
    I will start the coil building adventure in the next few weeks but happy with my baby steps. :)

    Nice job Pippi.
    The slighter larger contact coils look like the goods. Very comfy in there

    Loving the Vicious Ant Cyclone, The Challis not so much but I think I will switch to the coil Aqua suggested. I have a good stash of Aqua Coils so I can play a little bit :)
    Only thing with the Cyclone is I need to Squonk often as it has next to no catchment area for juice - just whats on the coil - its a learning curve & have already had a few dry hits. :)

    first time i've seen you not do the champagne taste thing, i think

    cyclone = $50 rda
    chalice = $150 rda

    Yep - sorry I posted below before seeing this, going to switch over the coil on the Challis to the Contact coil tomorrow - have a feeling that will be the making of it :)

    If the contact coils end up being favoured, you can simply squeeze the spaced coils to convert them. Either with a torch, or on the deck (most easily with ceramic tweezers if you have them), but a discussion for another time, go play!!
