I received my hcigar VT inbox today [I did pay for it, no conflict of interest]

I don't care about packaging, most of my mods come in velvet bags. This had big factory type box

Mod has a good weight, firing button is well placed for forefinger firing in either hand.

But I mostly want to give my thoughts on the electronics. I haven't, and maybe won't try temp features. But I have tried many boards over the years, and this is up there with the dicodes for instant firing and smooth output. Some will scoff and say all modern boards do that, but they really don't.

So far, the DNA75 seems like good bang for your buck. Vape experience is similar to a mech for me, with added bonus of no battery drop off.

I've got it set at 57.5 watts on a 0.26 coil.

Will post more as time goes on.

    i have 2 now

using them most of the time

instant firing, smooth output with no detectable pulsing, no maintenance, when my coils start dropping off i increase 2 watts and get longer

i'm buying a BAM by turbocad since i like it so much, solid silver wiring similar to you would do, which should aid battery life etc [i get a full day anyway, or 22-23 hours at worst]

Thanks for the feedback Dan, any disadvantages in your opinion vs a mech or mosfet mech?

    longevity will be telling

and, it'll sound dumb, but a mech or fet kinda gives strong hit in the morning after coffee, and more gentle by night time. I sometimes find i toot at night and think it is a bit too punchy for that time of day

i guess i should hit minus a couple of times :blonde:

not sure i'd vape it in heavy rain like mechs either, water must be a weak point

was limited recently by the 6v limit

i've been playing with higher ohm, higher volt to get my 50 watts. Mostly since building single bigger coils is easier than building parallel coils

    have a dna60 li-mo in production [9v limit]

@DogMan let me know if I can post this here or it should be move to another thread. Thought it'll be good idea to let others know that there seem to be some new VT Inbox bottles which are clearer and softer.

I bought spare bottles (from FT) when I bought my VT Inbox and were only slightly softer but looks the same. Found out on ECF that there's clearer and softer bottles (authentic Hcigar) out there.

After some communication with the member, he was nice enough to upload a video and told me he got these at Gearbest.
The new bottles does look clearer and definitely softer.

Have placed an order and will confirm when they arrive.

They're on flashsales at GB for $0.39USD at the moment.

@Pippi I know you will be interested :)

So I received these VT Inbox spare bottles today and they are definitely clearer and much much softer. Really soft. Definitely worth the purchase for anyone that owns a VT Inbox.
    Purchased these from GB.
Also waiting on FT bottles to arrive as well to check if they are also supplying these new bottles.

Anyone that owns a VT Inbox, do yourself a favor and buy these bottles :)

(Left are the new bottles I received from GB. Right are the old bottles several months ago from FT)

I got mine today! I won't post pics as Tez has already done that.

Mine are definitely softer than the bottles I got with my inbox a couple of months back, but one of mine is stiffer than the rest. It gives in around the base but not as much as the others. All purchased from gearbest at the same time so I wonder if it just got a touch more plastic than the rest or something.

Update on my FT order: Received a batch of VT Inbox from FT this time and guess what!? It's still the same old cloudy bottles that's not clear and soft like the ones I received from GB. Unsure if I was just unlucky twice in a row or not but I would not recommend buying the spare bottles from FT until more people can confirm they are the newer clear and soft bottles. Stick with GB for your spare bottles.
