I think I needed to be gentler while it dried 100 percent early on

I looked at that one too, small chamber so it might be good & SXK generally have good machining. It's in my wish list, waiting for some user reviews on it's performance.

Will have to watch that one later. SXK make clones (& their own OGs) of very high quality, so if Todd's given it the nod, then I might be tempted to try the clone without waiting for test bunnies.

Not for me, since top air and screw holding wires that way aren't my cup of tea.

But looks good, for what it is. No protrusions from base of deck, so should feed and drain well.

Just watched the review by Todd. It sounds to me after watching it, that Todd & I have similar vape styles. I prefer to use the minimum wattage to get the maximum flavor, huge clouds aren't my thing but if that's what it takes to get the flavor I want on an atty I can live with the clouds.
To cut a long story short, this https://www.fasttech.com/products/6548000 just went into my cart.
Looking at the SXK clone, the posts are a little different but IMO an improvement over the OG's posts, while the rest of the RDA is essentially a 1:1 copy. The Wires on the SXK should be easier to trap, because of the change to the posts :D

FT list it as being 30mm high, Todd said the OG is 19.5mm high - not including the DT or the 510 connection, which would be near enough to the same I think for both. I measured the Derringer & to the top of the center part of the top cap ( if you've seen the Derringer you know what I mean) to the base (not counting the 510) is about 18.5mm, so the Derringer's chamber is a little more reduced I think but not by a whole lot. The problem I had with the Derringer is it is a little leaky & it likes to spit, I haven't tried it in squonk mode though.
The airflow on the IAI should (Todd said it did) prevent leaking/seeping, the spitting is likely also reduced because of the slight increase in chamber size & also the bore on the DT is smaller than the Derringer's but this needs to be confirmed with use.

The price is also reduced when using the MAP, to $11US, making it approx $15Au, compared to $130US for the OG, which is difficult to get.
