I have a heap of Subtank / Toptank coils , ( mix of clone and genuine ) that I would like to Pay It Forward to any member who has more than 50 posts ! :winky: And will use them not sell them ! :winky:
I am at work now so no piccy , but there are quite a lot and I will even throw in the ceramic ones .
Some are still in their foil packs , some loose , mixed ohms and types.
I have no probs splitting these up if more than 1 regular wants these .
I only use the RBA heads .
To be honest I have no idea if any regular here uses subtanks/toptanks like I do all the time ?:shrug:
If anyone does need a piccy just ask and I will TRY to do one tomorrow.

    Yep, a really nice gesture.
I love my sub tank mini, but like you, pretty much exclusively use the RBA head

Thanks for the nice gesture Jerry.
Just putting a express of interest on these as I've recently got my father-in-law into vaping using my iStick Basic to help him kick the stinkies that he's been on for 50 odd years. Now he's asking if he can get a better device like mine but I've told him he needs to wait a bit longer as he might not be quite ready for a better one yet.
Honestly it's me that's not quite ready :( to let go of my Kbox sub mini because it looks like that's what he's eyeing on at the moment from my small collection. I love the subtank mini with the RBA deck as it's easy to change and it's my fav. and probably only backup I have when I'm out of crown coils.
My plan is that "IF" I were to give him the Kbox mini I would have the RBA head in there and have him swap to stock coils any other week that I can't make it to his place to redo the micro-coils.
Now your post has put me in a tight spot because I know these coils will definitely make my life easier as I can just get him to use these to change his burnt out coils.

This is only a express of interest ;) as I'm hoping someone else might take up this offer and I really wanted to convince him to get the Eleaf icare(because I want one too), something that's small, light and stealthy :)

I will put you on my list Tezr , ( to be honest I do not even know how to check how many posts someone has made ):winky:
But you seem to be a fairly regular contributor on here so you pass my test :sillygrin::sillygrin:

Nico no I can't remember trying to rewick any of the coils other than RBA heads.
With my eyesight even with a good desktop fully led lit stand magnifying glass I would struggle.:rofl::rofl::rofl:
RBA heads are a sinch for me , so I stick to them.

Ok just had a change of mind..
Tezr your father would not want/need the ceramic coils (as you really need to ramp the watts up to 45- 50 ish for them to even kick in.
So I will send you the normal coils (around 25ish) Please PM me with your postal address .

I still have 9 ceramic coils for anyone that wants them (as long as you fit the criteria)

I use my subtank mini every day. Have tarted it up with a Trinity bellcap. Got re wicking down to 90 secs I reckon. Two tools- screwdriver, paper clip, bang done.
Can you still get them anywhere?

Totally agree he won't need them and better for you to pass it to someone who needs them.
Thanks. Will PM you the postal address.

    I'm interested thanks.
I'm still learning about my Lemo2 and found that I like it more than my usual eGo-T (B) atties that I've been using for years.
Am willing to try another tank.

Following on from my post above,
I know nothing about ceramics. I'm still trying to come to terms with making coils for my Lemo2.

What ever you decide, thanks for your very kind offer.

Flea , The ceramic heads for the subtanks need to fire at around 45 watts upward .
Anything lower and they just don't work !
If you have a subtank and want the ceramic coils I will send them to you.
I tried them and not too bad but a bit hotter vape than I like. They can be washed out and reused fairly often. (I only have unused ones to give away.)
But with out a subtank or toptank they will not be any use to you. (or they may fit in other tanks but I have no idea about that)
I am only giving away coils not the tanks :sillygrin::sillygrin:
Although I can spare a kayfun or two ( real or clone not sure anymore ) if you want to try them !
Just let me know , and don't be shy I still have a few that will not get used and am trying to cut down on unused items.

I seem to find the same thing with ceramic coils, I haven';t tried the subtank ones but others I have tried usually like 30W or more. The tend to need more wattage compared to cotton wicked coils, I think maybe due to the nature of the material , as juice flows through cotton far more readily.

    Thanks Jerry, but no thanks.
As I said earlier, I know nothing about ceramics.
    I vape between 5W - 7W on my isticks.
So please PIF to another deserving vaper.

I would be interested in a Kayfun though.
I've just started on RTAs with my Lemo2 and loving it.
I've noticed a lot Kayfuns recommend in here as starter kits, so might suit me?
    Thanks.

A great big thank you to Jerry Hatrick for PIF four tanks to me.
They just arrived in the arvo mail, all intact as they were so well packed.

I'm going to be busy for a week learning about these new to me tanks.
I find it hard to thank you enough Jerry Hatrick.
    I am absolutely wrapped.
