Im glad Killary did get into power. As for all the clowns who protested and shouted "not my president" get over yourselves. Come the next election you can vote him out.
What a bunch of self righteous arseclowns, who thinks america owes them everything at such a young age.

It's always been the same. We think we know everything all through life but the climax is definitely when young. I still cringe when I think about my behaviour when young because I thought my parents knew nothing.

I knew democracy was a sham but I was still optimistic that there was some hope for us, even if it was the fear of pitchforks and the fact that someone has to buy everything for them to keep make money. There is only so much that people can spend of imaginary money surely.

You might get some comfort from watching Waleed Aly from The Project who in in the USA. He went to a Trump rally Pennsylvania and probably expected to be lynched because he is obviously of Middle Eastern descent. He apparently said that they were the nicest people he had come across in America. Last night he talked about the whole racist thing and you might find it interesting.

Starts at about 6 minutes. https://tenplay.com.au/channel-ten/the-project/2016/11/10-5204506876001

I think we need to look past his " Battlefied Rhetoric". Because thats what it was. I dont believe anything regarding a wall, banning immigration or 45% tarriffs will eventuate. ( Imagine tarriffs like that? Wallmart gone over night, along with every other chain and a large % of his own busineses. Wont happen. Watered down version, yes, but not the battlefield talk.) This is a bloke who will win. He's a proven entity there. If it means stripping the opposition bare, mouthing off what the majority are thinking and being as vindictive as humanly possible, he will / has done it. Once read his advice on getting screwed over. Go back and screw them twice over as hard...lol.. He talks, people listen, people follow. And apparently no political experience? Good I say. Pollies will always fail the public. Balance the spreadsheet and get on with it. Our Pollies will just have to work for their money now. Nothing wrong with a reset. 4hrs and the stockmarket corrected. Why?" Cos it's all just a piss in a bottle. Hysteria born from the scary unknown. Seriously? Being led around by the ears for the last 100yrs has only brainwashed them. I'm not saying good or bad but its out there to see.

I dont think there's anything to be scared of. Clinton scares me. She's been a driving force in the Middle East mess for a very long time, and believe me, that place is the trigger for WWIII. The Obama Admin has the Ruski's with one finger on that trigger already. So if there's anyone wants to throw out Biblical quotes, make sure there's a prayer in it that this bloke cosies up really well. Got to remember he has no baggage with them. Sometimes you need a hardman, not a pillow full of feathers with a bunch of fancy speeches. Free trade and soft borders has done very little if anything for the Rust Belt.Hence where they are now.

    I hate Politics..!!!

That is appalling behaviour and if Trump is serious he will condemn it. It serves no purpose for him if people behave like that and it is in his interests to jump on it quickly

Me too rupert, sadly none of those tweets come as a surprise but it is still distressing and I dont know the answer - I fear it will get a lot worse before it gets better.
Trump has made this kind of behaviour acceptable. he is the one who has lobbied the White Supremacists, KKK etc to support him.
Fuck only knows how he can turn it around - even if he wants to.

I am in total shock. This may be just the beginning. People seem to think they have now been given free reign to insult and attack innocent people.
You started this litany of hate Trump, now you had better get on and do something to stop it before it gets out of hand.

And of course people will be free to buy firearms, without any check being made, according to the orange man. God help us.

Thanks Pippi. I liked it very much and he said it so much more eloquently than I ever could. The link doesn't show sometimes in posts but I have discovered the link appears if I hit reply.

    Exactly!

Like I said Trump would win & Trump did win, not because people like him but because Hillary was a terrible candidate.

I think the world is entering a very perilus stage as far as the human race is concerned. People are fed up with the career politicians and the same old lies. pollies are too scared to go to the real left hence the rise of the far right. The hate Trump drummed up in his election campaign was horrid. This has been brewing for years. Carlin and Thompson predicted it over to 20 years ago. We live in a culture of greed and reality TV. Sooner or later the leader of freedom had to become a reality TV star. Only interested in themselves and their own vanity.

    What a brilliant rant!

And so true. Shutting people down by forcing political correctness down their throats and shaming them just does. not. work. Giving them representation in the Congress instead of selling out to corporations worked, for a while. The Democrats betrayed their own grass roots supporters so badly and then drove them underground where they couldn't be counted - now the educated, wealthy Left are acting all shocked and surprised. It's the collapse of a viable liberal alternative that led to a monster like Trump getting into office.

Where has the righteous Left been all this time as the Obama administration has waged war on country after country in the Middle East? Mr Nobel Peace Prize President got away with a lot more than George Bush did, without a peep of protest. Oh that's right, it's quite ok to hate Muslims as long as you use polite language when you're bombing them. And if you dared to speak out against a black president, then that would instantly make you a racist. He was god's gift to the ruling elite, who could do whatever they wanted while they held the strings of a president no-one dared to criticise.

They will pour out onto the streets now, all those "good" people, now they have a president they feel comfortable hating. I guess the country will now divide itself into the far Right and the far Left - nationalists and socialists, just like the Weimar Republic did before Adolf Hitler came along and wrapped them all up together into the National Socialist German Workers' Party.

    God help us all.

And the escalator scene when Trump accepted victory. Similar to the Simpsons. This was news when Trump was running. The Trump camp wanted to re create that scene. Trump will send the world back 100 years or worse. The problem is there is no alternative other than economic wankers scared of losing their jobs.
