VPF is a new term doing the rounds.

    Calculated by mg/ml * watts.

So if you vape 3mg at 100 watts, your VPF is 300

If you vape 20mg at 20 watts, your VPF is 400

    Etc.

Interested what got people off the smokes, and what they use now. Might prove a useful tool for helping newbies decide nic level for their hardware.

    :)

I used 36 mg with a coil between 1.2 and 1.6 ohms on a mech mod. Is that translatable for VPF?

When i first started vaping i used 12mg in a evod i think there 15watt:scratch:
Then went to sub ohm stick month later
    6mg 50watt

Now i use a mix of mods,sticks,cig-alike pre made and byo coils with different mg

    Cig-a-like 12mg i would gess 10watt,not sure on that one :?:

    AIO 12mg 30watt =360
    Sub ohm stick 6mg 50watt =300
    Melo 0.5-0.2ohm 6mg 50watt =300
    Crown, tf4 and small build tanks 6mg 30-75watt =420
    Limitless and large build tanks 3mg 0.5-0.2ohm 50-100w =240
Just went on average for last two

    Started on:

    24mg x 12W = 288

    Right now:

    9mg x 40W = 360

Early vaping with the Vamo up full, 15W and 24mg = 360
    Currently 50W and 15mg = 750 (feels like a big number, but I only go through about 3 - 4 ml a day, honest)

My only constant is the mg= 24 and that's a little bit of a stretch as I occasionally mix up to 28 and down to 20.

    Currently

    1/ 50w X 24 = 1200
    2/ 20w X 24 = 480
    3/18w X 24 = 432

What can I say I'm a weirdo, and probably of absolutely no use to this conversation.

I must admit I looked at the first number and thought it looked a bit high but then I thought so what!

It is what it is and I'm happy.

I usually vape around 10mg at 30w, so my score is 300, but I change the wattage up depending on flavour, but rarely go over 35w, so between 300 and 350.

Looking at this equation, I don't think it is going to help anyone decide how much nic they need.
Power is about intensity or "hit" but that doesn't translate to xx mls of liquid per day.
Hit is about instant satisfaction, not about satisfaction over time, for that you need a different calculation.
For instance compare someone that uses 3mg/ml * 100W but is only using 5ml of juice per day, vs someone that is using 20mg/ml * 15W & using 5ml of juice per day, both would have a "VPF" of 300 but the amount of juice consumed is the same yet the nic consumed per day is vastly different, 3mg/ml * 5 = 15mg, 20mg/ml * 5 = 100mg.

I'm really failing to see how "VPF" is a useful calculation but here is my current VPF on 3 different set ups(all of which I used today, interchangeably):
    1. 24mg/ml * 31.5W = 756
    2. 24mg/ml * 40W = 960
    3. 24mg/ml * 50W = 1200
3 vastly different numbers but I know that my juice consumption per day will be the same with all 3 devices, maybe I am just an anomaly but I really don't think so, I think people have a certain mg intake that they need whether it be zero mg/day 100mg/day or any other number of mg/day.
VPF may (probably does) relate to number of puffs needed to reach that mg/day needed but how that is useful in calculating the daily need, when you don't know the mls consumed per day?
And if you know the mls consumed per day & the mg/ml per day, then why does VPF even matter?

Gassy, don't feel weird, my numbers add up to more than yours :p
I think this "VPF" is a load of rose fertilizer, something someone made up to look intelligent & know what they're talking about, probably some Hipster with "product" in their facial hair.

I did have a witty reply (in my opinion) but it unintentionally sounded a bit rude so I deleted it!

Not rude to you but it could have been misconstrued so rather than offend anybody I decided against it.

Vaping is becoming far too confusing for beginners with all these damn terms. Many are justifiable, even needed, but it's really getting a bit silly...

40mg at 93w on my current setup

    3720

I don't think this gives much other than another way for boffheads a number to brag about.
