The postman left a card at the mailbox to get my parcel from the local post office tomorrow . I was home and he didn't even bothered to ring the bell. It was an express post containing my e juice. Bugger aussie post, bugger.

Kanger Dripbox 160 courtesy of @DogMan.
Along with 4 other squonker RDAs, that Doggie pulled out of his own stash & some blind test samples of NTN/TDN.

The Dripbox instructions seemed to be saying that the installed coils were made of SS, so I thought great, I can test that. I set the TC into SuS mode (SS) at 200deg F, as low as it will go & proceeded to fire the mod with dry cotton.
Cotton turned to smoke & ash, so either the coils are not SS or the TC is not doing its job properly, I haven't tested with coils I am certain are SS to find out yet.
Here's the result of the test:

On a brighter note, the Wismec Rx200 protective silicone covers fit on the DripBox 160, they are not a perfect ( the + & - buttons are not placed identically but the screen, USB port & fire button are) fit because of the atty sitting on oposite ends of both devices & the silicone covers have a flap of silicone that sits on top of the RX. My Solution was to just fold the silicone back down into itself & this is working fine. The fire buttons on the 160 have a north - south orientation, where the RX has east - west orentation, no big deal really, it just means you have to remember where the buttons are & not look at the botton markings on the cover & can still be used normally.
Squonking with the cover on is no more difficult than with it off, however you can't see the juice level in the bottle, I may cut a small "window" in the silicone (when I decide which design I want to buy & use on the 160 permnanently) so that the juice level can be seen, then cut the flap away from the top of the sleeve for a better looking fit.

Instead of using the included atty with the DB 160, I am using the RDA that came with the SkyFall Squonk tank ( I did a review of it which is in the hardware reviews section), since I already had that set up & I knew it was a decent squonk RDA & also because I have limited time to mess about setting up atties at present, I'm also using a 3rd party Drip Tip, which I think compliments the look of the DB160/Skyfall combo.

One problem I had was the atty was not registering on the mod. So I unscrewed the atty, took the juice bottle out & pushed the juice stem up, this lifted the pos 510 connecor up, then I screwed the atty back on & bingo it was reading the correct rsistance, juice bottle back in & squonk ahoy!

Why do you need a cover for it? Looks way better without it. You need a stylist Noe ;)

To protect from scratches (lots of rings on panda fingers ;) ) but also because the silicone cover makes it more comfortable & easier to grip, especially if my hands are wet.

I know, must be a record for FT - no idea why/how as I only paid the extra $1.20 for shipping, anyway I am happy :)

Peanut brittle and ginger snaps from judith :cancan:

I was just thinking this morning of writing a tongue in cheek complaint. Judiths pnb has become xmas tradition for me.

The blue lid container isn't a disposable type either. Tupperware type tubs are worth their weight in gold around here.
